Chesapeake Sports Club



The November meeting of the Chesapeake Sports Club was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center.  The guest speaker and Legend of Honor recpient was Chesapeake native and former Indian River athlete Colonel (Retired) Greg Gadson. Despite losing both legs during a roadside attack in Baghdad, he refused to be defined by the event. In his inspirational speech, Col. Gadson encouraged others to always perserver and strive to do their best. Everett "EJ" Whiten of Great Bridge High School was honored for his successful season of golf.
